The past few months have been humbling. Humbling to the fact that God is eternally in control. Humbling to know that what He has set out to do, He will complete. Humbling to reflect that when God chooses to work through us, it is not for Himself, but so that we might draw closer to Him.

This is a declaration that this post is the first of many. Words to encourage and develop faith in a community of believers. Our hope is that these will not be merely texts on a screen, but that life may spring forth from each word that is written.

May your hearts be filled with the Spirit, and be deeply rooted in the Word. Beginning with God each day during this season is the best thing you can do.
